Rana Farooq Saeed Urges Unified Strategy for Monsoon Response, Lauds PM’s Emergency Call

Lahore (.) Senior Vice President of Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab Rana Farooq Saeed has said that the government should formulate a solid strategy to deal with the monsoon rains, and the Prime Minister’s call for an emergency meeting is commendable. He said that NDMA, rescue and administration should jointly formulate a plan of action and if necessary, the services of the Pakistan Army should also be sought. Raja Pervez Ashraf further said that rain emergency and relief activities should be increased in flood-prone areas. He said that the entire nation is saddened by the loss of life and property due to the rains caused by climate change, this is the time to prove national unity. PPP organizations should help the flood victims.
