
An important meeting was held today, 17 July 2025, at the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), under the chairmanship of Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal. The meeting was attended by the Chief Engineer, Director Admin, Director Staff, Director Finance, and all relevant technical staff, including all Project Directors and Project Engineers.
During the meeting, the priority development targets for the first quarter of 2025 were identified. The following projects were marked as top priorities:
• Lifestyle Residency Apartments, Sector G-13
• Residential Projects in Sectors F-14 and F-15
• Skyline Apartments
• Kashmir Avenue Apartments, Sector G-13
All Project Directors, Engineers, and concerned departments provided detailed briefings on the progress of their respective projects. The Director General instructed the technical staff to expedite the finalization of financial and technical matters related to the projects and present them for Board approval without delay.
The PC-1s for three key housing projects under FGEHA are expected to be approved within the next ten days. These include the Lifestyle Residency Apartments in Sector G-13, residential development in Sectors F-14 and F-15, and the Kashmir Avenue Apartments in Sector G-13. Construction work on all three projects is scheduled to commence in September 2025. The goal of these projects is to provide modern and high-quality residential facilities to government employees.
The Director General made it explicitly clear that any form of negligence, delay, or complacency will not be tolerated. All officers must fulfill their responsibilities with utmost seriousness and ensure timely completion of targets to provide prompt facilities to the allottees.
He emphasized that quality, transparency, and adherence to timelines must remain top priorities in all development works, and any lapses in this regard will be considered unacceptable.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director General appreciated the presence of all officers and reaffirmed the commitment that the leadership of FGEHA will continue to take timely and effective measures in the best interest of the allottees.
