
Protest against health allowance suspension at Polyclinic Hospital enters seventh day, grand meeting held
Employees of all departments of Polyclinic Hospital Islamabad continued their protest against the suspension of health allowance for the seventh day. Employees of various departments and senior officials participated in the protest, which lasted from 10 am to 12 noon.
The protesters demanded that the health allowance, which has been suspended since 2015, be restored immediately and all arrears be paid. The protesters made it clear that they have been protesting continuously for the last seven days, but so far there has been no hearing at the government level.
Grand meeting held
After the protest, a grand meeting was held under the auspices of the Joint Action Committee in the auditorium hall of Polyclinic Hospital, which was chaired by Chairman Kaleemullah and General Secretary Dr. Yousuf.

All participants unanimously demanded that:
- Immediate restoration of health allowance should be ensured
- In case the demands are not met Protests to continue
- Two-hour symbolic strike to continue
- If demands are not met by Friday, another important meeting will be held at PIMS Hospital on Saturday, in which more stringent measures and decisions will be announced for the future
