Lahore:<\/strong> Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has issued final reminder notices to several public sector organizations and departments for the payment of long-outstanding gas dues, warning of legal and administrative action if payments aren\u2019t cleared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of April 2025, total outstanding dues exceed Rs. 3.7136 billion<\/strong>. Major defaulters include hospitals<\/strong>, owing Rs. 1.4125 billion, with Punjab government hospitals alone responsible for Rs. 1.1228 billion. Police departments<\/strong> owe Rs. 499.7 million, while jails<\/strong> in Punjab and KPK collectively owe Rs. 607.5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Capital Development Authority (CDA)<\/strong> owes Rs. 251.2 million, and various Public Works Departments (PWD)<\/strong> owe a total of Rs. 141.6 million. Educational institutions<\/strong> and other government offices collectively owe over Rs. 800 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notable individual defaulters include Commandant Police Training College Sihala (Rs. 146.37 million)<\/strong>, General Hospital Lahore (Rs. 97.74 million)<\/strong>, and PIMS Islamabad (Rs. 61.4 million)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
