FPCCI Appoints Dr. Talat Shabbir as Advisor to President ISLAMABAD\/KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has appointed Dr. Talat Shabbir, a distinguished scholar, policy analyst and international relations expert, as Advisor to the President of FPCCI, Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh.The appointment comes as FPCCI expands its focus on economic diplomacy, international trade, investment promotion and stronger engagement with regional and global economic institutions.As Pakistan\u2019s apex private-sector representative body, FPCCI currently brings together 308 trade bodies, including 81 Chambers of Commerce and Industry, 32 Women\u2019s Chambers, 19 Chambers of Small Traders, six Joint Chambers and 167 national trade associations, representing industry, trade and services across the country.In his role, Dr. Shabbir will advise the FPCCI President on international trade, economic diplomacy, public policy and strategic global engagement.
