Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza has expressed regret over the tragic incident of 15 members of the same family from Sialkot drowning in the Swat River and said that the affected family fell victim to the accident due to lack of timely assistance from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. The affected family kept calling for help for several hours. Why did the rescue teams not arrive? Hassan Murtaza said that the Gandapur government is all focused on looting funds and jobs. It is not possible to stop natural disasters, but precious lives could have been saved with timely assistance. He stressed that this tragic accident is a clear proof of the administrative negligence of the KP government. Due to natural disasters and terrorism, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is becoming a symbol of fear for tourists.
